These two elephants are the only two at the zoo, no live ones. They have all been shipped to other zoos, they are evidently too expensive to keep.
Water made everyone smile!
Garrett thought he would ride the statue, I am not really sure why!
There were two polar bears and this one, I guess they were all hibernating from the heat.
This just made me laugh...it is as if he is a psychatrist asking you to tell him all of your problems!
We really did have a great day, went to the zoo, then to IKEA to look for furniture for Di's remodeling project, and then to California Pizza for dinner. Great day...great company!

Let the record show that it was Dee's idea to go to the zoo. Not that I minded. I would go anywhere with Dee. Next time maybe we should go see a movie about animals. In a theater. That is air conditioned. Without the boys. Ok. Maybe a movie about something other than animals. One that involves laughing and popcorn and maybe some Raisinettes....
