The Zoo Today!

Well for some reason, Diann and I thought it would be fun to take the boys to the Philadelphia Zoo today...when the temperature was 99 degrees. We survived...saw all of the animals that there were, although I believe that most of the animals were looking at us thinking...really you came to see us when it is 99...we are not moving for anyone!

These two elephants are the only two at the zoo, no live ones. They have all been shipped to other zoos, they are evidently too expensive to keep.

Water made everyone smile!

Garrett thought he would ride the statue, I am not really sure why!

There were two polar bears and this one, I guess they were all hibernating from the heat.

This just made me laugh...it is as if he is a psychatrist asking you to tell him all of your problems!

We really did have a great day, went to the zoo, then to IKEA to look for furniture for Di's remodeling project, and then to California Pizza for dinner. Great day...great company!

Back in March...

Well way back in March 2010 we went to the Split Rock Resort in the Poconos to the Indoor Water Park. We had a great time. Garrett loved the surf rider and spent most of his time there.

I evidently can't get my pictures in the correct order so here they are

This little red fox was right outside the lodge, I took pictures of him for about 10 minutes, he didn't move a bit, and we got pretty close.

This is Garrett on the Flo Rider...he loved it, he got pretty good in a short amount of time.

More Flo Rider...Anyone who has seen Garrett since this picture was taken can see a difference in him physically, he is about 20 pounds lighter, and has fluffy long hair! I think March was the last time he got a haircut.



This was the beautiful view out our lodge window. The rooms were old, we were in the origional Lodge building, but the view is the best in the resort.

And last but not least, Dan got a new truck....FINALLY in March, he is like a proud papa!

About Time! Our Life 2010!

Well I guess I will post pictures in any random order, I don't think that anyone ever looks at this blog, I do it to amuse myself. So, here are a few pictures from the past month. We went to Ocean City, and to the Dover racetrack. I have other pictures to post of things we have done in the past6 months, so if anyone is reading this check back!Garrett thinks

This is the tire that came from Ryan Newman's car that Garrett got at the racetrack, Conner thinks that it is a new ride in the living room.

We went to Ocean City with the McCaffrey's, Brandon, Nicole and Garrett were tired of posing for pictures, but they did like the pirate I think.

Doesn't he just look like a surfer, beach boy. He would live here if possible.

Can't Resist!

I couldn't resist posting this picture! We are snuggie people! I bought this as a joke for Garrett and I think Dan and I are using it more than him. I think I am going to have to get them for us all!

Christmas Memories

Garrett all decked out in his holiday outfit...ready for the final day of school before vacation.

The Grandkids

Isn't he just the cutest thing? He loved posing for the camera. This is probally the only year that that will happen. By next year he will walk and won't want to be still at all.

They were all ready on Christmas Eve in their "magic pajamas" so that Santa could find them!

Well it was time again for the yearly family photo. For some reason we generally get a good one at Lois's on Christmas Eve. Conner has a good grip on Poppy's ear!
